Spatiotemporal Analysis of Waves in Compressively Driven Magnetohydrodynamics Turbulence

Using direct numerical simulations (DNSs), the interaction between linear waves and turbulence under compressible magnetohydrodynamic (CMHD) approach was studied. A set of DNSs in three dimensions for a spatial resolution $128^3$ $256^3$ were performed. parametric study carried out varying sonic Mach number, mean magnetic field compressibility amplitude forcing. Spatio-temporal spectra energy built analyzed, allowing identification all wave modes CMHD turbulent system quantification amount each mode as function number. Thus, detected, that is Alfv\'en fast slow magnetosonic waves. Furthermore, different responses plasma found according to whether number or varied. On other hand, making use spatio-temporal two integration methods, we accurately quantified present normal modes. Finally, although presence observed, cases studied mainly dominated by non-linear dynamics plasma.
